Sometimes, it becomes necessary for your attorney to consult with your counselor. At times such as this, please note that your communications with your therapist is covered by Federal HIPPA policies, Florida State Department of Health rules and Florida State Law as well a several ethical guidelines adhered to by this therapist.

If your attorney contacts your therapist, you should have already requested and completed a Release of Information signed by all parties involved and the original in our possession. Without the release, this therapist cannot discuss any aspects of your treatment, up to and including the fact of whether you are a client. To facilitate prompt cooperation with your attorney, please contact this office and a Release of Information form will be e-mailed and/or snail-mailed to you as soon as possible or you may CLICK HERE for a download.

Please know that any confidential information will not be released to any one without your express permission unless ordered to by a direct court order (not a subpoena) by an authorized judge unless other Florida State Laws apply.
