Mental Health Tip #1
What we focus on the most directly effects how we feel. Here is some advice to keep a more positive mental attitude in the midst of a very negative world: " ...you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious - the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not to curse." Philippians 4:8 The Message
Parenting Tip #1
"Parents, do not come down too hard on your children or you'll crush their spirits." Colossians 3:21. The Message

Sometimes, people want someone to sit down and work out a life plan or how to achieve a certain goal along that path. That is where life coaching can be of help. The Life Coach is trained to listen to your aspirations, help you discover your core values, make a plan that will help you reach your goals and feel more productive in your life.
The Process
1. Where are you now? What are your skills, personality, life style, present situation? In order to set out on any journey, you need to know what you have to make that journey?
2. Where do you want to go? What does your preferred future look like? How will you know when you have arrived? What is your definition of success?
3. What are you going to need to get there? Maybe you need some information, education, resources, connections, etc. Do you need to adjust your preferred future based on reality of your situation?
4. How do you make it happen? This is where you put it together and get out there any make it happen. The Life Coach walks with you through this part helping you make the plays, adjust the game and put it together.
5. How do you keep it going? This is where you measure success and keep doing the behaviors that will take you to success. Many people evaluate at this point and then begin the process over again.
